OmniPEF BENCH — Benchtop PEF System
Overview
OmniPEF BENCH pairs an OmniPulser GP pulse generator with a treatment chamber and a safety cover for a ready-to-run benchtop PEF setup. The treatment chamber is either a Continuous Chamber or a Batch Chamber, chosen to match your process — pumped flow-through material or vessel-based batches — connected to the generator by HV cable. The two share the same footprint and swap in seconds, so starting with one doesn't lock you out of the other if your work later needs both.
It serves two kinds of users. For newcomers to PEF, it is a ready-to-use starting point. For experienced users who already have their own treatment chambers, the BENCH is a useful reference — the component breakdown makes clear that the OmniPulser GP is available as a standalone pulse generator if that is all you need.
Standard configurations
| Parameter | Options |
|---|---|
| Polarity | Unipolar / Bipolar |
| Peak Voltage | 10 / 20 kV |
| Peak Current | 250 / 500 A |
| PSU Power | 4.5 / 9 kW |
Configurability and options
The GP platform underneath BENCH brings its own capabilities along: Constant Current for a fixed current ceiling regardless of load, Arbitrary Sequencing for multi-pulse programs, High Continuous Frequency for extended high-rate runs, Burst Mode for structured pulse trains, and Remote API Control for automated or integrated setups.
The listed configurations cover the most common starting points. If none of them match your process — different voltage, treatment volume, or chamber geometry — tell us what you are trying to do and we will suggest parameters. PEF process design is application-specific, and the right configuration is a conversation.
