OmniPulser — High-Power Pulse Generators

The platform

The OmniPulser is VITAVE's general-purpose high-voltage pulse generator. Unlike OmniPorator and OmniPEF, which are optimized for specific processes, OmniPulser is built for the broader landscape — plasma research, particle accelerator applications, component testing, and any application that requires a configurable high-voltage pulse source without fitting into a predefined category.

The parameter range is wide by design: voltage from 5 kV to 100 kV, current from 50 A to 10 kA, unipolar or bipolar. The right configuration is determined by the application.

Two variants. GP (General Purpose) covers the full parameter envelope for standard pulsed operation. HF (High Frequency) is built on the same platform with oil cooling for applications that require running at high repetition rates continuously — where thermal management becomes the critical constraint.

  • OmniPulser GP

    General-purpose high-voltage pulse generator. Wide parameter range — 5 to 100 kV, 50 A to 10 kA, unipolar or bipolar. The starting point for applications outside electroporation and PEF.

    High-frequency variant of the OmniPulser. Same parameter range as GP, with oil cooling for sustained continuous operation at high repetition rates.

Capabilities

The full set of platform capabilities is available across both variants: Arbitrary Sequencing, Adjustable Rise Times, Real-Time Measurement, Remote API Control, External Trigger Input and Output, and more. Which capabilities are relevant depends entirely on the application.
